    Driving to the property from Pahoa town brought me reflection and serenity, as the freshly paved Government Beach road winds through scenic hill forests and black hardened lava rock. Just at the corner of Government beach road is a spot to pull off for a panoramic ocean view across a vast expanse of black lava rock. Making your way down Cinder road to the property you will cross Cinderland Ranch, once featured on CNN as a travel hub for young island visitors.

    The 50 acre parcel is located just between the Papaya Farms Road community subdivision and a larger parcel owned by a local development company.

    Entering the property I found myself surprised with how many different varieties of trees were available. A beautiful rainbow Eucalyptus caught my eye right away. A road had been cleared across the southern boundary and wound its way down to a two story home that had been left alone for a while.
